Holy Trinity is dedicated to demonstrating God’s love in Meade County and beyond. Key Ministries include:
Meade County
Angel Tree
Bringing Christmas to needy Meade County children through gifts of clothing and special items.
Meade County Messenger Thanksgiving Baskets
Holy Trinity members contribute to this community project.
Vacation Bible School
For one week each summer, children ages 5 – 12 learn about God’s love through stories, music, crafts, and games.
Blessing Box
Non-perishable food and toiletry items are available in a “take what you need” box in the church’s parking area. Supplies for this box are provided by members of the congregation and the local community, as well as through half of the proceeds of the congregation’s monthly fundraising evening at Brandenburg’s Dairy Queen.
Special Services
Annually, Holy Trinity holds a late-summer outdoor service, followed by a picnic at Brandenburg Riverfront Park. This venue is also the location of an annual Blessing of the Pets in early October in conjunction with the Feast of St. Francis.
Seamen’s Church Institute’s Christmas at Sea
Parishioners and friends provide hand-knitted scarves and hats, as well as toiletries and books, for the mariners working aboard towboats, harbor tugs, and dredges on the Ohio River, Mississippi River, and the Gulf Intracoastal Waterways.
